Low fat
oil pie crust recipe
Here is another recipe for a
reduced low fat pie crust. Like
the others, you need to press it
into your pie pan since it does
not have the right texture for
rolling.
This makes a single (bottom)
crust for an 8 inch pie pan.
Ingredients:
1 c all-purpose white
flour
1/2 t sugar
1/2 t salt
1/3 c vegetable oil
1 1/2 Tablespoon skim milk
Preheat your oven to 425º
Stir
flour, salt and sugar together
with a fork. Drizzle the
vegetable oil and milk over the
dry ingredients and toss
together until you have a
crumbly mixture.
Place mixture in
pie plate and pat it into place
to form a crust of even
thickness.
Bake for
approximately 15 minutes (for a
prebaked shell) or until it is
barely golden.
